I wish ESPN would just die already

Their flailing attempts of long term survival with the SAS and Pat McAfee-cation of their programming has ruined the product.  The NBA Draft coverage this year was a disgrace to even a casual fan.

It's unwatchable garbage.

Corresponds pretty well with Disney making Pitaro head of ESPN.  Norby Williamson already caused a slow death beginning in the 2000s, but his ouster didn't change much.  That org has so much toxicity and programming with no real analysis anymore.  Taken over by talking heads and ex-attorney/execs who think they know ball.

I wonder if Rich Eisen is happy for a potential homecoming?

Eisen is already rejoining ESPN.

His daily show is headed to ESPN Radio (with a corresponding live stream on ESPN+)

Just Disney buying everything what else is new.

It's not just buying it, its also ruining the IP into the ground and milking it until the cow is bones and keep doing it. God dam I haven't watch anything star wars in 20 years, I think the clone war cartoon was it.

Shocked Darth Vader and the alien haven't married each other as another lead show idea

Don't support the evil empire. Pirate what you can of their poo you want to watch.

fug em.

99% "shows" and "movies" they been putting out since the end game are not worth pirating.

They are putting the too big to fail saying to a test. Losing 100 million after 100 mill hasn't stop them either. The public will watch any and all slop if nostalgia is at the Forefront.

Everything they cover sucks.  They were supposed to drop baseball for the Savannah bananas.  Good riddance I’d say.  Their coverage is awful.

F'em.  People are already starting to watch less the generation coming up has less interest than my generation and the rest of us don't want all the politics that ESPN likes to throw into our sports programming.  I'll just watch the games broadcast on the major networks and watch less football I guess.  The only reason I have ESPN now is for College football.  I don't ever watch it otherwise to much BS on there for me.

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
