Receivers are definitely showing off  today. Renfrow made our starting NCB look like a chump (it happens) and Jimmy Horn looking like he deserves to run with the ones!

I think that looked much better on Bryce's part than tmacs.  He made a really good adjustment to the ball but his separation is what is always going to worry me, he had absolutely none with Jackson on that play, Bryce threw him open.

As long as he comes down with the ball, I'll take it! But yeah, that throw was perfect.

Love to see it but also a double edged sword there as Horn took some similar abuse last season. Best you can hope for is iron sharpening iron and everyone comes out better prepared.

Regardless though, he's fast as hell. 

And he seems to already have an established fan base. I think Renfrow takes his snaps during the season but at worse, I think he's our PR and KR. He has the type of talent that you have to utilize in some form.

Mid-4.4s is nothing to scoff at but talking about breaking the record then missing by two full tenths is pretty wild, not gonna lie. LOL! He also had the slowest shuttle time of all the WRs by over a full tenth. All but two TEs had faster shuttle times. Every CB and all but one safety had faster shuttle times. Literally half the DEs and all but three LBs, hell even a DT put up a faster shuttle time.

The kid is definitely quick and it shows up in the clips, but for talking such a big game he sure bombed showing it off ont he stopwatch on Indy. LOL

I cant recall Horn talking himself up. I do remember that Isiah Bond talking himself up

      Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .

      Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.

      Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
