Did I say that? Try again. In fact, I said the exact opposite in several respects.

I don't run a football team, and I wouldn't presume to know what the ball boy knows, much less Eric Eager (for example). I can only know so much.

I may question someone's opinion within the context of giving my own, but clowning people and personal insults are not my go-to style. Now, as some have learned over the more than last couple of decades, I can and will get stupid with people who get stupid with me.

All of this bullshit over a hypothetical pursuit of a LB on the 31st ranked defense in the league and a fundamental misunderstanding of PFF and link after link proving I was right.

Awesome.

It doesn't work for us.

Which angle?

It would add around 1.5mill to the cap and Panthers get a top 15 PFF LB to lead the defense for the 2025 season?

Chemistry wise, I don't know if Coker is liked or hated or loner or ______ . I just see hes got a few players in front of him.

I think that's the biggest take-away, well besides all the cokeheads being too scared to call his stats or if he's active. Huddle has Coker rated as a ring of honor, I like him and all, but not that high......

Wow, thanks for answering the question! The other cokeheads are scare or unsure, they don't even know if he will be active or scare to post his projection 2025 stats.

You for sure have a open mind about this, I knew the reason before I posted it. Psssssst but don't tell the other cokeheads, he was nursing a injury is what I heard.

Ill drop this from the list, no biggie!

I really feel sorry for your lack.of communication skills.

I'm not scared.  You're acting like a damn joke right now. Certainly nothing to ever be scared of.

Like Linville has said, we dont know Cokers role in this season's offense.   We know he thrived last season.

The jags aren't going to ask for Coker,  and the Panthers aren't going to call the Jags.

You gave me the keys- You cokeheads don't know his role. That's the the whole kit and caboodle, I know lloyd and his top 15 rating would be leading the Panthers defense while cokeheads don't know his role!

could we use a Devin Lloyd type? probably.

does Coker really have anything to do with that type hypothetical? I don't see.  I think most teams generally have their own version of Coker (which doesn't make him relevant in terms of player acquisition IMO.

I think Coker's value is only so high to the Panthers. He had good production for a udfa and he has some favorable advanced stats, but the reality is he had limited production. I love the guy and personally think at worst He's very solid depth... but... He's not getting traded straight up for a starter right now.

As an aside... What's with this cokehead stuff?

He thinks it's funnier than it is. I got the play on words and it's cute if you use it once but repeating it over and over takes that away and feels like he's trying to be insulting.

I thought the same thing. Somehow i missed this thread and the whole idea of trading an up and coming young WR for a LB with an expiring contract is silly.

Basically it's 11 pages because two people can't accept this and have concluded that means that everyone else is stupid.

idk if this would make sense for the Jags. BTJ is their #1, they traded up for Travis Hunter, and Dyami Brown is on a 1yr deal after showing promise in Washington (as well as Jags training camp).

Coker would likely compete with Joshua Cephus for WR4. Doesn't seem like a very good transaction for them.

    • I can always count on yout to put things so delicately lol. I'm still not sold on the fact that Tepper will make them keep him if they don't see him as a long term answer.
    • holy poo... this thread inspired me to keep trying to guess passwords to various alts I've created over the years and I finally got in! I pretty much accepted my fate as a lurker for the last several months because I could not remember my password. I didn't realize that new users couldn't join either, that explains things. I have been around for years under several different monikers, through the good and bad. I too always find myself coming back here even with all of the new social media options for Panther fan engagement. It's simply nostalgic.   I do get extremely annoyed with the same 5-10 posters shitting on Bryce and complaining about everything. It's unfortunate that half of them are mods and that nobody new can join because now I pretty much just come on here and see Bryce / Panther slander. There is barely any positivity to be had. We all watch this team and hang on this forum for entertainment purposes only. We have no control or say in anything. I used to be such a crazy ass fan that would argue with strangers about Cam newton on the internet and at games. Now, as a father of 3, a business owner and someone with way gnarlier life problems - I like to watch football and talk about football as an escape. Not to bitch more. I really like the direction of the team and will root anyone in a Panthers jersey. I live down the street from the Rams practice facility, Matthew Stafford is currently coaching his daughters flag football team in the same program I coach my sons. I have two highly ranked Rams staff members sons on my team. The way we beat them and had them on the ropes in the playoffs has me feeling amazing, and you would think we have the next great thing in Bryce with the way they all speak of him. I'm gonna ride that high and be a delusional fan, I hope that huddle can stick around or get fixed and perhaps I will get back to posting more now that I can log in again. I will do my best to not get banned. Keep Pounding!
    • Well, if they know Tepper wants to keep Bryce there is an an implied safety net there in case he fails. A possibility that he will be empathetic and •maybe• not fire them.  If they go against that and bring in someone else and that fails they are in a much worse spot.  IMO.  And another factor may be that after all those years of instability and musical chairs pre Bryce there will likely be a feeling of security in knowing what they have.   Kind of like settling just to keep from going through the process all over again.     IOW I think he really needs to fug up bad to lose his job and change our course.
