TBH, I’m in the minority, but I don’t think he should’ve been given this season.  This QB class of 2025 was not great, but Sanders would’ve been an ideal developmental QB to push Bryce, and in the case that he flops again (which I expect), he could’ve stepped in and probably done really well as a rookie.

Sanders is a strong personality to be a backup. I think that is why he dropped in the draft as well. You draft Sanders with the gameplan of him eventually becoming the starter. I don’t think we are there yet with Bryce. I wouldn’t have been against Ewers later in the draft though. Could be a decent backup with a bit of a ceiling.

That's funny. I thought pre season didn't matter. Isn't that right??

The scoreboard doesn't matter. But how your starters look and the overall level of preparedness does.

You don't have to get mad and just start switching up arguments to try to find something that will land.

My point from the beginning here was that you're not likely to find immediate help for your pass rush in the draft unless you're lucky enough to be drafting VERY high and have a potential generational type talent in the draft. That's it, that's all. Immediate impact pass rusher help in the draft is a long shot.

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
