This is what I hate about sports reporters all offseason non stop how great he looks and how he is going to be awesome, then he barely plays preseason, people saying they saving him for regular season, turns out nope he just wasnt doing very well .

Jaycee Horn said they couldn't cover Hunter's routes.  It's on film of him still cooking guys on routes in practice.  Easily the best short route runner on the team and not close. 

Dave Canales just keeping his guy.   Who was one of the worst in all the NFL last year.

He was always facing an uphill battle and honestly was a longshot to carve out much of a role on a long term basis all hype aside.

But hey we gave him a cool 1.22 million bucks to hang out with us through camp and preseason so that's better than some other folks. Good luck to him.

I'm convinced this organization doesn't like receivers that can actually catch the football.

Mark my words; they'll trade Thielen for peanuts and trot out XL as our WR2 and have David Moore playing WR3 while Coker rides the bench.

I think they have bigger plans for Coker this year.

I never understood why the Panthers brought Renfrew in because he's basically a Thielen type receiver and not as good.

Yeah, something tells me Renfrow just wasn't in good enough football shape to warrant using up a roster spot. Like to think he was still helpful in camp showing our younger players how to run routes.

I hope so. He's easily the second best WR on the roster; I'm not entirely convinced he's not the best, but it's hard to say with until we get a better look at TMac.

Ive never played nfl football but I have to imagine its not easy getting into practice/game shape and sustaining it

Yeah, we may regret this, and at the same time trying to trade AT is... weird.
