So, it is trolling...

You are low-key good at that, I'll give you that.

Like I said, I enjoy the banter. For real

I post a 2 word stupid joke and you respond with a soliloquy about me including my personal life.  If thats not living rent free in your head I dont know what is

I love Sellers and his skill set and highlight reel is nuts but that said he needs a lot of work

Agreed, but he should have this year to show some nice progression.  If so and he is coachable man he has a high ceiling....

rent free comes to mind here

and one has to be mental if you truly believe that Young is locked into starting here "quite a few more years"

You are watching a different qb then the rest of us

Bryce may not be the answer, but C.J. Stroud damn sure isn't going to be a Panther either.

You sound upset... thats not very becoming of a troll.

1st rule of trolling is doing the trolling and not being the one being trolled... right?

worry about his setup this year.   That Gamecock D could put too much on his shoulders.   Gamecocks might be asking a dude still developing as a passer to do way too much

I'd be lying if I said I followed SC that closely.  I take it there defense is bad this year?

Smh that gamecock D. Just wait. We gonna have to surprise yall once again.

I can assure you our D is just fine.

We also got Faison cleared - nothing on sellers shoulders more than last year.

Clemson fan doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

We are returning the best edge the nation (Stewart) and two stars in the backend (Kilgore/DQ Smith) who will be better than Emanwori.

Agreed.

For me if I'm the Panthers. QB is in the upcoming draft plans no matter what. We need to develop a young QB2. The position is too important for the team to continue treating it as inconsequential. Now what round that QB is drafted in will be dependent on how Bryce Young looks. If he plays his ass off throughout the season then we can swing on a mid round pick. But if Bryce is average at best or has another set of games where he plays really poorly but then has some better games down the stretch then we should heavily consider swinging on a QB early. In that situation you have simply got to bring in real competition. Let them duke it out in camp 2026.

Been my thought as well for a while. Got to address the QB2. Dalton is meh as a backup but we really need to try and do better. Unless you luck into a Brady, Dak, Cassel, etc you're not likely to get a starting caliber QB, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try. We don't have a lot of luxuries after years of bad drafting, but we can't ignore it forever.

    • There's a lot if good pieces to love in this team. The last 6 or so years of garbage have kinda blurred in my mind and is clumped together. We need a leader of men type player and I wonder if Tepper will ever allow that type to be signed.
    • There is a feeling amongst Colts fans that Daniel Jones will not resign with them because he knows it’s his opportunity to make bank and they won’t pay it.    I think Mac Jones will be off limits because he will replace Purdy eventually (now or later) and he’s under contract. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jacksonville moved on from Lawrence, probably not this season but he’s getting a lot of blame for stuff that’s not his fault down there.    Wouldn’t be surprised to see Rattler set free. He actually didn’t do horrible this season. Cooper Rush is just sitting up there for the Ravens. Did fine with Dallas but he’s severely out of system with them and probably why he had trouble when he started.  I would keep an eye on Davis Mills. I think he will be our QB next season. Hes the better version of the QBs Dan and Dave keep signing to the practice squad and doing a nice job in Houston. He is going to start and his neck is going to be the back up.
    • David Gettis would have been a Top 3 receiver in Franchise history
