and yet this statement still rings true

4 out 5 lineman are dealing with something and our center is coming back from a season ending injury again

From one position group...the only good one at that on the roster

Ikey is highly unlikely to play, that seemed fairly obvious after the surgery.

If either of the guards misses the game, we are likely royally fuged.

I can tell you that for all the bitching about Ikey's pass protection, we are gonna see some wild poo if Niman suits up. That kid is fuging awful.

WTF is their problem with BC if they are considering playing Niman over him? Other than BC playing elsewhere and even then why? If Moton is healthy than BC should be first up as backup at LT.

Yeah, I don't get it either unless they are afraid of another of their lineman being less than 100% and needing BC to fill in at another position on the line. But I would trust Zavala or Mays filling in there and keeping BC at LT over having Yosh step on the field

It's so funny that our perceived areas of strength heading into the season (OL/WR) are limping into week one.

Trade AT

Cut Renfrow

Coker to IR for 4 weeks

Re-sign Renfrow

3/5 OL battling injuries

Thank goodness the early part of the schedule is opportunistic for us.

my favorite is Renfrow isn't healthy enough to even be on the active roster over David Moore to.......Renfrow is obviously our starting slot WR.

Panthers panthering

Players on injury report. Not including Eagles/Cowboys as they're tonight nor Vikings/Bears since they're on Monday night.

  • 49ers: 16
  • Dolphins: 12
  • Browns: 9
  • Buccaneers: 9
  • Packers: 9
  • Chiefs: 8
  • Bills: 6
  • Broncos: 5
  • Commanders: 5
  • Giants: 5
  • Saints: 5
  • Seahawks: 5
  • Falcons: 4
  • Jets: 4
  • Lions: 4
  • Panthers: 4
  • Texans: 4
  • Jaguars: 3
  • Patriots: 3
  • Steelers: 3
  • Titans: 3
  • Cardinals: 2
  • Chargers: 2
  • Raiders: 2
  • Ravens: 2
  • Rams: 1
  • Bengals: 0
  • Colts: 0

Giving us:

  • Mean: 4.8
  • Median: 4
  • Mode: 5, 4

I can't tell if some of our fans were born frail or if they committed a lifetime of effort into being so with the way I'm seeing some respond to the injury report.

The issue is that our only strong unit is banged up and basically has been most of the training camp. It's not super unusual for big guys but when you are already arguably worst roster in the NFL, these kind of things can matter a lot.

We definitely can't afford being minus even two starting OL with the razor thin margins we are likely operating with.

I am not sure what the deal is there. BC is obviously a substantial step down from Ikey but Niman is straight off a cliff. I don't get it.

Curious to see if we decide to start him AND if they realize their mistake and out BC in.

I guess it comes down to who can play multiple positions on the Oline and who cannot. Nijman can only play T and he sucks at that. Brady can do it all but if he starts at LT the G position is left too thin I guess. That's all I've got.
