Listen, I got nothing personal against Bryce.  I personally watched the first half of the game before I had to go to work.  My mind on his performance at that time was 'If he doesn't throw that interception and have that fumble, we could have made it a game, even have the lead'.  Yet after seeing all the breakdowns of his game, and particularly the one in the OP, I conclude Bryce's game is completely terrible.  Yes, our defense stinks, but against a team like Jacksonville, they probably would have done much better if we had competent play at the QB spot.  Competent QB play would have limited the amount of times they were on the field.  Which would have eliminated a lot of those big runs by virtue of not being on the field, or if Trevor Lawrence throwing the ball in a down-a-score scenario.  I hate it and I don't really like the negative talk surrounding one guy.  However, it's just too obvious Bryce might be holding the team back.  Even more than our defense is holding us back.

They said Bryce is bad so it must be a good breakdown.

 

They said Bryce wasn’t great but wasn’t all his fault so it must be a trash breakdown cause that’s not what I saw!!!!

Only truly stupid or ignorant people disliked Cam Newton. He made our franchise relevant he tried to change the culture despite constantly being criticized for hating to lose. He looked the part out of the gate in a lockout year too. He was the complete opposite of what we have now. There is zero culture here. Just guys who make hollow generic statements over and over. I have no idea how anyone that isn't under the influence of something could draw parallels to the prime Cam era with that we have now. It's honestly offensive

There's a long history of that here. Byron Bell, Sione Fua, Ian Thomas, Mingo, Bryce Young....I just don't get it.

There is a pretty long list of  Panthers that have always been universally loved though.
