So, just what is it that makes a QB "elite"?

I won’t take away all of his credit for the comeback today. Yes ARZ played vanilla but every team does that with a lead. I just want to see us play like that in the first quarter.

Or the last two minutes when somehow you actually shockingly have a chance to win the game and the refs are trying to drag you across the finish line and yet you still refuse to cooperate.

Bryce’s weak arm was on full display during  that hilarious drive.

An elite QB is somebody who can take over a game. Somebody who makes those around him better just by being on the team. Mahomes, Brady, Manning, etc.

The only “elite” QBs in the NFL right now are Mahomes and maybe Allen in my opinion. There are some very good QBs (Burrow, Jackson, Stafford) but they are not “elite”.

I’m not sure if I can define elite but if Bryce’s career ended today….

we would be debating the Clausen, Carr section of the Panthers rankings and where Young plugs in.  Which is below the Teddy, Allen section.

Id say Bryce is Teddy with extra steps.  But that would honestly not be fair to Teddy.

Could you imagine Cam getting that same opportunity as Bryce at the end of the game? We actually recover an onside kick and Cam Newton comes in with a little less than 2 min, 1 time out, and 50 yards to go. That's elite! We all would have known we would win, the minute we recovered that kick.

It was the only drive in the second half where the D put any effort whatsoever, like the first half. If the zone could have been any softer then they would have to lay down and take a nap.
