The gift game was against Arizona. I still say it is a race between us and Miami for the 1st overall pick.

I don't see how we can keep up w/ Miami's offense.  It will have a field day vs our D.  And we struggle vs bad defense.

Miami is struggling with everything right now. We have been ass for a while now so advantage us in the suckage department. I honestly prefer us having the number 2 pick. That way, hopefully, someone saves us from ourselves this time. I know, wishful thinking and all.

Diamond Dave would give up 3 1sts to move up to 1 to draft a RB.

We're going 0-17 with DC, Evero and BY. This the worst Panthers team I've ever seen, including the one run by the corpse of George Seifert.

It will be hard pressed to look as bad as the Jimmy Clausen experiment. The 2023 team was close but just barely a bit better. The fact that it was only 1 season caused everyone put it out of their minds because it got Cam. This mess has dragged out for 2 seasons and is headed for 3 makes it feel worse. Jimmy couldn't even get a 1st down on a prevent defense. The had a coach that wanted to get the hell out town before the season even started. It was truly unbearable to watch.

Most miserable football experience of my life was during that season. Home vs Atlanta in the cold rain. 😂😂😂

With the Oline regressing, with the QB still dancing a jig and the Defense running around in circles, can they possibly win five games. The remaining games are not going to be pretty. I'm thinking 2 - 3 wins at best. If they can beat N.O twice and pull another win out their ass, then maybe.

What you got?

I genuinely don't know where the next win is coming from. 5 wins is ambitious.

5 wins? With Bryce at QB, this defense, and already down two starting OL?

Man, I don't think we can beat anybody in the league unless they hand us the game.

The refs tried their damndest to hand us the Arizona game.

It's worth consideration that likely every single team has us circled as a win.

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
