Every Pass Attempt to XL Yesterday

Yeah he plays small for his size which is crazy. One of those plays in particular the ball hit Legette right in the hands.

But. When you watch the rest of it you see why eventually late in the 4th quarter Bryce Young finally got an intentional grounding. He was throwing too many passes low and the others were either very erratic or poorly placed.

We need to see this offense with a more competent QB.

The one where he was swallowed up in the pocket and barely got the ball past the line of scrimmage was startling.

He plays small.  I mean there is nothing bad XL does.  He just doesn’t get open and isn’t a 50/50 guy…so it’s all just bad or contested passes.

I think if you give TMac the same routes it plays out slightly different because of how he handles the routes

What’s the point of counting targets if half of the passes aren’t even remotely in the area of being catchable?

I was waiting on somebody to post all the passes to leggette because most folks just react off emotion during games. Once you go back and watch you see what really happened.

Intended gameplan?  I do think it’s safe to say they want the ball to go him. He was clearly the primary on some of those last possession throws

We are more than a season into him not being able to make plays, catches, etc. Strangely, even with Bryce, AT could. Renfrow could. TMac could. Coker could.
