If Bryce protects the ball, we have a chance. If not, it gets ugly. Our Safeties are an absolute problem in coverage, so the offense will need to score - a lot. Our run defense is actually not that bad right now. Especially if Evero pulls Nick Scott after missing the tackle on the the first big run from Bijan. Ransom is a tackling machine. Neither seems great in coverage so at least put the strong tackler in the game.

Taking us. Bryce’s biggest issue is starting slow, it’s inexcusable and needs to get figured out but I think it’s out of his system now with 2 road games. I expect a clean game from him at home, TMac coming out party, Chuba over 90 yards, and the D gives up a ton on the ground but shuts down the passing game and we win a close one.

I honestly think this one could get ugly.  Unless I see a drastically different team than the first two weeks.

Falcons - 38

Panthers - 13

Same, I expect this game to be the one where fans really riot

Knowing us...

-Jalon Walker/JPJr. get at least 3 sacks

-Jessie Bates gets an INT

-Michael Penix throws at least 3 TD passes

-XL drops at least 2 passes

honest question, if you remove the 1 game anomaly from his career (that week 18 game)....when is the last time he (Bryce) even finished a game strong?

Well I don’t think he’s gonna win us this game I think he just finally protects the ball and takes what defense gives and Chuba kinda puts us on the back along with our other 2 RBs. But yeah he hasn’t had many. I would say Green Bay his rookie year was pretty great.

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone and we have Taylor Moton inked to a recent extension. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
