Benching Bryce and then being forced to play him again and him looking even serviceable like last year, would be the absolute worst thing possible, because then it just creates more uncertainty.

And once you bench him for Dalton, it's signaling to the rest of the team that you're just throwing in the towel too.

This is a really bad situation with no good way out of it this year.

I agree I suppose they are going to have to stick with him

This game was over the second they thought it was smart idea to only activate 4 WR. There’s a reason every QB that has put on a panthers uniform has looked horrible 

Open WRs are open WRs.  And they have existed every single game this season and BY doesn’t or can’t make the throws 

and we have seen worse on top of that.  They just had better QB play

You saw the tape already? The only time Bryce missed was a couple checkdown underneath outside of that every time they showed a replay no one was open.

Don’t need the tape to know he misses throws.  You can see that on the broadcast.  You will just find more with the tape. 

and as has been talked about since year 1…..opposing defenses cheat and make small ball harder because he can’t throw deep.

Most people readily acknowledge the franchise as a whole is a dumpster fire and has been for some time. But multiple things can be true at once. And our offense is very limited with Bryce at QB. It is glaringly obvious.

      The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.

      I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
