what does the panthers record need to be / who do they need to beat to make you a believer?

this game was a classic game for the panthers to let us down and lose. they came out on top and now we face the 'big bad bills'. 

 

my questions is, who do we have to beat or what does our record need to be before we start posting this image again?

Packers are beatable, lets see if we can beat either of the other two and it will definitely put the league on notice.

They need to look like they’re good at football.  It still looks like they could implode at any moment.

Grinding out a win is cool, but at some point you have to be able to look at the product and say, “yeah, that’s it right there”.  We can’t say that yet.

The last 24 games - all of last season plus the first 7 weeks of this season - the Panthers haven't beaten a single team with a winning record.

They've had the 3rd easiest schedule in the entire league (#1 in the NFC) through 7 weeks. They've faced only 2 teams with winning records, and got absolutely stomped in both of those games.

Excuse me if I'm not ready to throw a parade cause you barely squeaked out a close win against the Jets and Dolphins of the world.

We would be incredibly hard to beat if we could find a way to get a down field passing game to compliment the run game. 

 

Now that the defense has settled in. I was concerned about dealing with a running QB and they handled that well.

Honesty I can’t see that happening with the team as currently constructed. 
But to feel good about them I need to see them beat who they should beat and steal a couple they are dogs in and compete (with the top teams), be a team people don’t look forward to playing. 
That is what I feel like they owe us, more is gravy.

For me, they don't need to beat anyone. I need to see growth in DC and Bryce if he's going to be hanging around. DC's offensive play calls leave me scratching my head a lot and his situational awareness leaves a lot to be desired. I know, he's in year 2, but I'm tired of watching us do things that don't work just because it's his comfort zone. 

For Bryce, he needs to show he's the franchise week in and out, whether or not he's got a 200 yard back. We don't need a game manager. We need the guy that can throw the team on his shoulder when we've got 30 yards rushing down by 3 scores and not from turnovers.

7 wins was always the mark I wanted to see reached this season

8-9 would be a huge bonus and really have me believing 

Sweep Saints, either take another one from Atlanta or steal one against Tampa and we’re at 7

To get to 8-9 we’ll need a legit win or two. Our non divisional games left on our schedule aren’t easy

They are getting there. They have beaten the teams they should have, so far. They should have beaten the Cards and would have if Young hadn't spotted then a couple of touchdowns in the 1st quarter.  So far his limited play has allowed others to step up and give the rest of the team enough motivation to fight on.
