Bryce Young: one of least efficient qbs in the league past first read

Recommended Posts

Left to right is efficiency per pass past the first read, so yeah obviously Mahomes is far right

Top to bottom is how often the qb throws past his first read. Fields looks off his first read the most often, while Carson wentz lmao

another way to read this, top right is spreads the ball around and does well when they do it.

bottom left is rarely throwing to second or third read, sucking when they try (again, carson)

From what I can tell, Bryce is about league league average on what percentage of the time he throws past his first read, but well below average on how efficient he is.

Not a great cluster of QBs to be stuck with. Rattler was just benched.

In efficiency he's sandwiched in with 40 year old Joe Flacco Tua Rattler and Wentz. I mean you can be the biggest optimist but that isn't gonna cut it.

I'm eager to see his processing skills against the Packers.

Lol this is essentially middle of pack to 20th best QB in NFL which we already know. The hater click baiting is nauseating

Bruh, that’s clear cut bottom of the pack.   How you going to spin that as middle of the back lol

Middle of the pack in terms of moving past his first read, bottom 5 in EPA when doing so.

Oh, and Bryce is 56th among NFL QBs this season in overall EPA.

How is that even fugging possible.

It includes every QB that has taken a snap this year. There's 64 of them. Bryce is 56 out of 64.

The full list of guys below Bryce in order:

JJ McCarthy

Spencer Rattler

Geno Smith

Joe Flacco

Cooper Rush

Dillon Gabriel

Jake Browning

Cam Ward

Yes, Dalton isn't among them. He's 54th.

    • The hell happened to our Te's...I gigured Evans would get a biggercroke coming off the bye week? Sanders?? He might need to put that weight back on. He's been about as underwhelming as Wonnum. And Tremble looks nothing like he used to btw.  Xavier in the top 5? Nah...Moton in the top 5? Pretty sure I saw him getting beat multiple times 3rd/4th qtr.
    • I agree 100%.  Just to add, ANYONE that wants to sign BY to some 300+ million nightmare/contract, they can kick rocks first.  Like you said, brad adds nothing. This is war, just bring in a bright forward thinking OC that's going to come up with new plays and ........a fing game plan to beat a 1-8 or 3-10 team...... challenge the defense to defend every blade of grass and evolve this team.... By my eyes Dave is just another Ron Fox wilks 4.2 with his only success being if the score is low and able to run enough...(minus one game.) fug that, thats another big issue, Im just sick of the coach hires, its too many since Rhule.  Dave has earned the right to stay, but.......If Dave doesn't want his pilates lover to go be a video assistant for underdawg or whatever betting site that gives him a salary. Peace out bro....
    • If it were that simple, Reich and Canales would have already done it. The next HC would have the same happen. If Canales is gone, I wouldn't be surprised if Tepper elevates Evero to keep him around with Bryce, Tremble and Chuba as agreed upon long term offensive pieces. I believe Reich and Canales would have gone different directions at QB and DC if they were allowed. Wilks even made it known this organization doesn't make the HC the primary partner in personnel decisions. Before the HC even gets a chance it likely goes Nicole > David > Dan > Brandt > Eric > Benjamin 1 > Benjamin 2 > HC I highly doubt hanging the HC wouldn't fix all the problems over his head.
