He's a former #1 overall pick more than halfway through his 3rd season.

Sorry, but we're LONG past the time to "worry about Bryce later"

Crying about a player within a hour of one of our best road wins maybe wins in general in a while is ridiculous. Just relax and enjoy it. We haven’t seen this in a minute.

I still think it's an oddity to credit the QB with a win when the FG kicker puts up the winning points.  For fun sake, re-run those numbers were Young scored the winning points, not the FG kicker  I know what it is and...whoo-boy is it U-G-L-Y!

That was an absurdly clutch kick from Fitzgerald considering what we've endured at kicker over the last few years. Shame people aren't giving him more props.

Yeah he was a great pickup by our front office on a cheap deal. They also turned this defense from historically bad to maybe dare I say decent? Oh and we actually have some OL depth as we have had more different lineups than any team in the league. Good job Morgan and Tillis!

the dude created the thread for this exact reason.   We are enjoying the win but at the same time we can be looking side eyed at our 100 yard qb performance.  And for the record this isnt a one off type of game.   So when ever the bryce believers want to dunk on the rest of us its quite funny

He didn't have a great game for sure, he didn't do anything in this game to convince me that he's the QB of the future besides being part of the victory today.

11/20  for 102 passing yards 0 TD, 1 INT, and  a fumble recovered by Chubba.

Bryce should be donating half his check to Rico Dowdle. Been saving his bacon this year.

Exactly what I think. He’s not the guy. This is year 3 and Canales is still coaching around him. With the way the D and Rico played, good QB play wins this game by 2 TDs. I’d love to see this team with a better QB. It’s sad to think we picked the wrong year to go QB hunting and trading away every asset we had. The #1 overall pick we gave away was the QB draft class we should have jumped all over.

And not being concerned about our QB still looking this bad in his 3rd season is??????

They're not mutually exclusive, you can celebrate the win while still being concerned and speaking your mind about it.

I've never one time said I'm not happy that we won, I've never one time this season said I wish we'd have lost a game.

All I'm doing is giving my objective opinion about what I've seen on the field, regardless of the Win/Loss result, and everyone tries to tell me what I'm trying to say instead of just taking my words at face value for what I'm saying.

No one is dunking this is clearly a thread that’s only half serious.  Just keep winning and we can make upgrades accordingly. QB included.

We can’t do anything about the QB anytime soon. He will keep getting chances, especially if we keep winning.

We got the win, and Bryce conducted another game winning drive.

Say what you will about the stats (and they are consistently bad), the kid doesn't wilt when the game is on the line.

But man, we've got to get something going during the rest of the game...

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
