There is no point in thinking about Shedeur. He can't behave normally in the media, he can't support his teammates when they get a shot. Zero chance he's ready to lead an NFL locker room. Let someone else deal with him.

The Kaepernick collusion was extremely obvious. It didn't help that he was a below average starting QB. Ask Watson if controversies matter when the league views you as elite.

Yes eventually they "gave" him a shot but it was as much a PR stunt from the NFL as anything. That one was pretty cut and dried.

Do you remember how all that went down? They didn't "eventually" do anything. Hell, they were trying to trade for him before he was even released.

Taking a flyer on sanders is low risk high reward

idk why there’s such an outrage whenever his name is brought up

you either ball or you don’t

Not everyone wants the circus. Coaches and most owners just don't want that much noise to constantly address.

You know how Bryce fans will be blaming the team for his failures even after he's out of the league? The Sanders show has potential to be much worse. Deion has a much louder megaphone than Bryce's dad.

I've blasted and blasted posters saying bring back Cam but honestly I'd rather watch him next year after being out of football completely for 3 years and having not been any good since 2017 vs wasting anymore time on Bryce so fug it, bring him back and I'm sorry.

I haven't heard a peep from deion demanding his kid play, did I miss something?

Any time Panthers are looking to draft or sign a QB, the crop is at its worst.

There’s literally nobody worth drafting in the first round in 2026, and free agents are slim pickings.  Maybe Russell Wilson who is officially washed up or Mac Joned who has a noodle arm.  Tepper curse strikes again

Funny, I think this might not be a bad crop. Yes, the guys who were discussed as first rounders/heisman favorites have honestly poo the bed but maybe you can find a guy early 2nd like a Dart or Love or Lamar or Brees or Favre. You’ll probably still get some first round QBs.

Take Sellers. Dude looked really good in his first starting year last year. OC goes to coach App and he gets Mike Shula, yes, that Mike Shula as his OC this year. Remember Cam’s stats in 2018 with Norv before teams realized his arm was shot? I’d love to see Sellers with a good OC/QB whisperer.

Maybe, just maybe we’ll get lucky and have a good QB in a bad situation fall to our 2nd.

What about 2027? I'm curious.

L-O-A-D-E-D!!!  We aren't cutting Bryce.  At worse, he plays out his rookie deal without getting the 5th year option.  No need to panic.  What we need to so is a find a bridge QB NOW for the 2027 rookie and let the young fella sit most or all of his rookie year.

Huh? 2027 class is even worse than 2026. Right now most mocks have Nico Iamaleava as the #1 pick. I don’t want any part of that, or anything rated worse than him at QB.

This team is in trouble for a very long time at the QB position, unless they completely luck into someone. But that would require development and coaching, which this team hasn’t had since Dom Capers was our head coach.

Huh? Where are you getting your info, lol?  I guess the places you are looking still has folks like Arch, Moore, Sellers, Mateer, etc...all going Pro this spring. Nothing is certain yet as it is still early, but most, if not all the underclassmen have been leaning heavily to going back to school from multiple sources.

Sam Howell is at the top of my list, and if we can swing him for a late draft pick or something then do it. Big arm, mobile, learning behind a superbowl MVP, and still only 25. Put up damn near 4000 yds in a year he was running for his life. Dude can absolutely sling it, but he is a turnover machine (which IS coachable).
