Coker was open literally all day.  The tip to XL that may have been a TD otherwise, Coker is wide open for a walk in TD

Well it doesn’t matter how open you are if you aren’t going to catch it. Catching the ball has been an issue for XL. I want him to succeed and he does flash greatness here and there but his consistency isn’t there.

Bryce has shown that he has the talent to throw for 400+ yds, multi TD games, and throw it down the field. He is just wildly inconsistent. When he is bad, he is tragically bad. But when he plays well he can also ball out. He needs consistency and confidence.

Bryce has shown he can throw for 400 yards against teams that are below .500 for the season. Has it put up numbers like this against playoff caliber teams? Nope

I'll be the first to say, I do not believe in Bryce Young. One game does not erase 3 years of bad play............but you gotta tip your cap today. What a hell of a game. The only problem is he'll probably follow it up with a 150 yd clunker next week. But for today, he deserves praise after coming back from injury and dropping 450 yards.

Exactly. Do this against 49ers or Rams the next 2 weeks (obviously not 400+, but at least a good game) and I'll start to believe

Dude just won in OT with 448 yards against our rival, can’t give him any kudos?

I absolutely did.  Bryce had a great game today. If he more games like this moving forward, he may change my mind about him.  As it is, he has  a couple of solid games a year.  Is this the one? Are there more to come?

    • So true...look back at 2015 when we won 15 during the regular season and like half of those went down to the wire
    • Sounds like you’re just caping because I have already stated my intent when I posted.  Was it hyperbolic?  Sure.  But that’s what’s fun about this board.  I don’t need validation. I’ve been posting what I think, good or bad, for years.  In my everyday life, I speak my truth and stand on that.  I don’t care about validation, affirmation, or popularity.  I enjoy the discussion, good or bad. If you re-read, I didn’t say I’ve never seen a QB get stepped on.  I said I’ve never seen one, to the best of my memory, have that happen in that fashion on a 4th down and then lay there like the MedAlert lady.  And I said I brought up that play because again, how often do you see other QBs have that happen?  How often do you see QBs who are “super processors” decide to throw a ball out the back of an end zone on 4th and goal to go?  How often do you see them get squared up with a defender and fumble before even getting hit like a scared child?  He does poo that other QBs NEVER do.  Some have, but they don’t stick around for long.  The good ones NEVER do this poo.  And that’s the problem.  And again, yes, Zavala is a fuging chode and played his part in that play…  but I go back to Bryce and his limitations and this being an ongoing issue.  It’s like if it’s not him fuging up, someone will because Bryce is out there.
    • Amazing what happens when the starting qb goes out.
