QB School vs Falcons week 11

Takeaways:

1. Falcons pass d had their share of miscues. Whether we confused them or they did it to themselves...

2. T-Mac doesn't have elite speed but when Bryce throws with good anticipation, it doesn't matter. They complement each other well.

3. Considering his ankle got reinjured, Bryce was moving around a lot better than expected. Very much a necessity because...

4. What the pass pro? I know we have a lot of injuries but there's far too many miscues. Zavala should not be on this roster next season. All our QB's going forward cannot be statues because they'll get crushed behind this line.

5. I feel Canales went full Canales with his playcalling... and it worked for once since we had been going heavy with tons of running and short passing. All those positive chunk plays were worth all the negative plays.

Am I alone in thinking elite speed is overrated? Elite speed in the NFL just means you have a little more separation, which matters a lot less when you've got elite hands. And T-Mac has elite hands.

Between T-Mac and Coker, I've learned that the #1 thing I want in a WR is a guy who makes catching the ball look easy. Speed. Route-running. Agility. None of that matters if we can't count on you to bring it in when the ball comes your way.

Agree 100%.  Hands are definitely underrated as a tool when compared to separation.  Either way you gotta thread the needle in this league.  I'll take Mr Fantastic that catches anything in a 12 foot radius any day of the week.
