The defense was possibly the worst unit ever last year.  Bryce is a big part of the problem but he can’t win or lose games by himself

Let me guess, WRs can’t catch can’t get open, O-line sucks, RBs can’t run, playcalling sucks, defense sucks, we have no skill players outside of TMAC, defense was decimated with injuries last night, our offensive line was hurt last night, Bryce’s ankle still hurts, refs were favoring 49ers, 49ers defense were committing flags all night but were uncalled, Bryce was jet lagged from flying cross country, it was past Bryce’s bedtime, Tepper sucks. Please let me know if I missed any reason as to why Bryce did not play well last night.

That’s right.  54% completion AND 160 yards average passing per game.

In year 3…who still thinks he is the franchise?

I’m not sure why you or anyone is upset about last night. BY is not and has never been a good QB. The sooner everyone accepts it the more realistic you’ll be with expectations.

They are rah rah guys for Brycie....but they are cooling on him, finally.

holy poo Im listening now and they refuse to poo on Canales, making excuses for bryce (play calling, wrs, refs) and are saying we still are showing real "progress". This is awesome.

  • In a meeting with reporters in 2019 (about a year after he bought the team), Tepper said he “will not stand long-term mediocrity.” ESPN.com+2https://www.wbtv.com+2

  • He expressed frustration that the Panthers had never posted consecutive winning seasons and said he “despises mediocrity … especially when it never seems to end.” https://www.wbtv.com

  • In a transcript, he emphasized that he wants to build a standard that will be “built and sustained … sustained excellence.” Carolina Panthers+1

  • After a particularly bad loss, he also said, “long-term mediocrity … would not be tolerated under his watch.”

  • If our owner doesn't see that Bryce's performance through his first 3 seasons is an example of "long-term mediocrity, then he really doesn't understand the meaning of the term. He'd be making a very unwise decision if he forces Morgan to pick up that 5th year option.

CJ Stroud threw for over 300 yards against this 49ers team.

Just saying, just saying....

Jacoby briscett set an NFL record for consecutive completion against that defense just last week. Granted they were losing in the second half but so we're we

We have yet to attain short term mediocrity. I suppose this is the first season we have flirted with that.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
