I heard several sports handicappers this week say they’re starting to wonder if Bryce was the guy at Carolina. These are people whose opinions I respect, but if you don’t know by now, it’s obvious you never watch Panthers games. He’s simply not an NFL starting QB.

There is nothing about Bryce that elevates this team when bad things happen

i wish him no ill but I wish he was not this team’s qb

it is not working, not for him or the franchise, it just shouldn’t be this  hard

as the saying goes ‘ can’t fix a bad design’   He isn’t designed for the nfl.  It is seldom good, it is never perfect, and it is a 17 week dog fight .

Cowherd was discussing whether or not Mario Williams should be the top pick in the draft, whatever year that might have been, and asked rhetorically on his show how sure could someone be that Williams was even good, because he played against the NC States and Georgia Techs of college football, not real competition.

It was the clear after year 1. You either show glimpses of a franchise QB (even on very bad teams) or you don't. Bryce showed absolutely nothing year 1 that even resembled that he could be a franchise QB.
