Investigate Jaycee Horn's betting accounts

Recommended Posts

It's just hard to wrap your brain around getting away with a facemask and horse collar earlier and then you aren't at peak awareness especially at that point in the game.  It's just really questionable and confusing.  But we do have some very low IQ players (XL) so.

Jaycee is a player who is easy to root for. Local roots. Good for the locker room. Certainly talented. But unfortunately things go beyond just being a physical corner. Maybe these awful perfomances from our offense are wearing him down. In that regard I cannot say I blame him. These guys are human after all. Regardless he isn't worth the contract we gave him. It is what it is.

A) he doesn’t fit in Evero’s scheme. He was drafted to play Man in Snow’s scheme.

B) you don’t need a high end CB in Evero’s scheme, you need guys like Jackson who can sit in there 1/3 or 1/4 of the field. Plus, Evero doesn’t have CBs shadow specific WRs. It’s financially irresponsible to keep him.

C) Please trade him for an Edge Rusher, I would rather spend that money there or somebody across from McMillian that doesn’t have feet for hands.

I think the aggravating factors are how many long TD's Horn has allowed(team leading 6 TD's allowed) and also how bad his tackling has been(24.5% missed tackle percentage, 1st among starting players.

Overall, his QB rating allowed is good. His completion percentage when targeted is low and he is doing well in PD's.

Truthfully, Jackson has not been recognized for how great of a season he is having.

Seriously under appreciated.

I do think he had a rough patch a while back but over the second half of the season, he has really come on strong.

He should be in man on a team with an actual pass rush. I think scheme fit is an issue with a player like Horn. He likes to be aggressive. Course that doesn’t help not drawing a penalty but it can’t be easy covering the field for the worst pass rush in the league.

Yeah,  the pass rusher is spotty and an elite rusher to go with Scourton would do our Dbs wonders.  Not even saying how it'd help Derrick get more pressure up the middle without having to stunt.

Nothing really unbelievable about that when you look at player penalties

https://www.nflpenalties.com/all-players.php?year=2025&view=total

Pat Surtain also has 9 penalties Defensive Pass Interference (5), Illegal Contact (2), Defensive Offside (1), Defensive Holding (1) for 109 yards

Jaycee Horn has 9 penalties but according to that link it only says 7 for 49 yards but they list 9? Defensive Pass Interference (4), Defensive Holding (3), Illegal Use of Hands (1), Face Mask (1)

Not all that bad when compared to some of his peers although the timing of his penalties have been about as bad as they could have been.

    • Apparently, it's hip surgery for Pyotr... Thank God he's pretty young bc that is gonna be one hell of a rehab. Hopefully, Bussi can keep his throne warm for him until he's ready for his triumphant return.
    • The Urban and Reich seasons were epic NFL failures for completely different reasons while also linking these 2 QBs. Wasn't Reich fired earlier in the season by a game or something?  Trevor's bust to Youngs bust is interesting and obviously I would take the former 10 out of 10 times. Still, Trevor has only had 1 game over .500 in a season until this year when playing. What I am saying is that that HC is winning with what he has, which isn't perfect, and in a place that scrapping 9 games together is not a given...usually with help from  another QB along the way. And that's in the AFC South. And the Jags are actually paying their QB vs us hopefully dodging a horrendous 5th option. So that's a lot tougher than what it cost to field Young this year or next. I wasn't really trying to prop up Lawrence but Coen. Dude is doing good work and it showed when Carolina played them. The difference between him and DC is like Lawrence and Young at the minimum IMO.
