I wouldn't do it. Give him the off-season to fully recover. He's a huge piece of the Oline, but I think it's really not worth it this season. If we somehow make the playoffs, maybe for that game, but that would be the only way I'd even think of bringing him back this season.

Basically how I feel, it's way more important for him to be healthy next year. I hope they learned something from bringing Jonathon Brooks back too early and he was out for yet another year.

If we weren’t in contention I doubt they bring him back, but since we are, they did.

This makes 15 weeks since the injury.  Let him practice this week, see how he responds.  If he feels good, let him play week 18 at Tampa unless we manage to clench this week then you hold him for the playoffs.

(I had to re-read that several times because it’s so weird to be talking about holding out guys for the playoffs haha)

It would be nice to have someone in there that would not trip our QB once a game.

I hear that but also the QB isn’t getting the depth on the first step like he is supposed to. That came in a press conference with the head coach. Faulted both players.

As far as Hunt, a fresh Hunt at this stage of the season could be a nice boost if he is ready.

This ^.

We can't play for next year every year.

Bring him along slowly. Practice for a couple weeks and either activate vs Tampa or for the (gasp) playoffs, depending on how he feels. Don't play him hurt. But once you're in the playoffs nothing matters about regular season performance.

Mixed feelings. Would love to have him. A fresh Robert Hunt is definitely a great thing to have. At the same time our line has played well, and I'd love for him to fully recover and be ready 100% next season

.
We’re paying him big money.

We are in a position to win the division for the first time in 8 years.

If he is ready he is an upgrade and our depth can go back to being depth.
It really comes down to how he feels and what the medical opinions are. And then you proceed.

If he isn’t ready, absolutely don’t put him out there but to assume he will be Brooks, you should have a good basis for it which I doubt you know and know I don’t.

Also if he is Brooks, Brooks’ repair was likely gonna fail regardless and we found out in time to react, so now we have Rico. If Hunt is not going to heal, let’s find out sooner rather than later.
