Clete Blakeman to ref Saturday

Recommended Posts

Interesting choice. Blakeman’s crew statistically calls the most penalties of any crew in the NFL by far, and it’s pretty balanced with his crew not favoring the home or away team. That means the NFL assigned the crew to this game specifically to cause chaos, and potentially keep an overwhelmed Panthers team in the game for maximum entertainment value. He owes us one that’s for sure.

I may actually bet for the first time. $1k on a Panthers loss

Moneyline maybe, but you might want slam the hell out of that spread because I definitely don’t think the Rams win by 10+

If that's not a catch, I'll eat a bowl of cat turds!!! Fug Clete!

Crazy thing is, wasn't it called a catch on the field? So they're trying to tell us that they had enough evidence to overturn that call? Still pisses me off to this day. Clear as day hand underneath the ball with complete control.

Other way, incomplete, not overturned

It’s completely mind boggling that the NFL doesn’t have checks and balances for the guys tasked with upkeep of rules and conduct.
A player breaks the rules and goes helmet to helmet, suspended.

A ref breaks the rules….apology on Monday.

I like the human element of sports and don’t want technology to take over calling games, but these guys are having to much of an impact on the game. NFL needs to police their league better…..unless, you know. Tinfoil Hat GIF by The Tick

This site always has it wrong. The ref screw job for this team was Carl Cheffers in the playoff game vs. San Francisco. Also Cam’s shoulder was fuged after a TACKLE attempt following an INT against the CHARGERS. TJ Watt not found in that exchange.

Clete was the head ref in Super Bowl 50, which was also a screwjob

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
