Dan Morgans first draft was officially an F-. Possibly the worst of all time.

Its looking that way. He better do better in this draft to remove some of the red from his ledger. He also needs to keep finding those udfa gems.

That’s yet to be determined. Rico could walk and Brooks could come in an take over the RB room. Sanders, Wallace, and Smith-Wade have raised the floor of the team. If you include Coker as udfa it’s not that bad at all. XL was always a gamble.

2025 is an A +

I am on the fence on Wallace which makes it pretty rough. I mean I am barely into the fence with him. Not impressed.

I always counted Coker and Mike Jackson as products of it. We traded the LB we took in the 7th for Mike Jackson, pretty sure before training camp. Or right at the start of it.

I wanted Ladd McConkey. We Got XL. I wanted Blake Corum. We got Jonathon Brooks. I wanted Payton Wilson. We got Trevin Wallace. I wanted Luke McCaffrey. We got Ja'Tavion Sanders. I wanted Caelan Carson. We got Chau Smith-Wade.

With all the wasted trades for our 2024 picks, we could have added Malik Mustapha too.

I know I am not the only one

2 years in it looks pretty bad especially at the top. X has been a bust. So has brooks. Wallace seems average at best. Sanders flashed, peaked then disappeared.

Csw is an ok role player. But flipping barret for Jackson was a coup and getting Coker was a steal. So we got 2 starters, an avg lb, and 2 role players in sanders and csw. Not the worst panthers draft but def not the best.

I REALLY wanted McConkey and Wilson. I honestly didn't even know who TF Trevin Wallace even was when we made our pick.

CSW is awful. Sanders adds no value.

Wallace at least started to show some signs of progress.

Losing Thornton hurt this defense big time. Thornton and Coker both UDFA’s are the only two worth a damn. And this damn team cut Coker. They got real lucky

    • I would be quite surprised if he got more than a fine. Flopping has long been out of hand in the NBA. There were definitely some Heat players doing extra selling fouls. LaMelo seems to be getting quite a bit of hate on social media for the Bam injury though. And it is fair to wonder how the next opponent might defend him going forward knowing what happened. I don't think we can just be homers and dismiss it entirely especially after all the complaints we've made about the Pistons in particular. I think this group better be prepared for a very physical game on Friday.
    • When you look closely at the play it was careless from Melo but bang bang full speed I don’t think it was intentional or dirty or deserving of a foul. Bam’s off balance momentum was already carrying him towards a fall and even if Melo didn’t touch him it may have had the exact same outcome. And honestly I think he did try to sell it more when he felt LaMelo’s hand. Dudes arms flopped back instead of bracing for the fall. Sucks he got hurt but a suspension would be ridiculous and an awful look for the league. Fine and move on
    • Sure but it literally would be benching him lol, and it would kill his confidence. He’ll get back in a rhythm, kid just had an all time great rookie season and led the league in 3s, you gotta stick with him as starter. But yeah I’m all for getting some more lineups throughout the game with Coby and Melo   and yeah Miles’ block and Coby and others jumping him in celebration was fuging epic
