BREAKING: Falcons stud DE James Pearce Jr arrested for beating a woman

Recommended Posts

F'ing scum that guy is. We'll see how much of a shield money is against the judicial system.

I'm glad to be building a team of integrity and not getting "steals" in the draft that fall from character concerns. We have an improving locker room culture. When you've got a great culture, you can take a chance on a player or two. But don't bring them in while you're still building that culture.

Fug the Falcants, I'm here for this poo. No 1st rd this year, their last yr pick is a horrible human apparently which will only make a team toxic eventually......

on another note!

$2500 Bail bond for Domestic violence, BRUH this country is worried about the wrong things sometimes.  People wonder why women in DV cases typically get murdered by these entitled, toxic pieces of poo.  This dudes career should be over but it won't be.  Jerseys of his will be sold and bought.  He may win an award later in his career even.  The NFL will POSSIBLY "Suspend" him and claim they support women's right to exist peacefully.  Instead of banning dudes like this indefinitely for life.

People don't change, he will do this again. Those are facts not an opinion.

James Pearce Jr. may fall further than you could imagine

Everyone knows how athletic Tennessee EDGE James Pearce Jr. is. He came into the season as some analyst’s top prospect in the class from summer scouting. But his junior year in Knoxville did not go to plan in 2024.

I was told that the Tennessee football program could not only breathe easier once Pearce left campus but that his pitch count in SEC play was not injury related. Pearce was seen as undeniably uncoachable and as a player with one foot out the door already this season, giving his coaches little incentive to put him on the field full-time.

Pending the Mike Green reports that have flooded the media over the past month, I was told by one scout that Pearce Jr. is seen as the player with the worst character report of any player in this draft class.

Another scout told me they think the environment and people around him in Tennessee are the main issues, and they think he could become a pro when he enters an NFL building.

I was left with a final note that while the general public would be stunned to see it happen, NFL personnel won’t be shocked to see him on the board after the first 64 picks in the draft.

Looks like this guy was on to something.

Looks like all those reports last year swirling about him being completely off team's draft boards due to character concerns were maybe not as outlandish as some made them seen

I can't remember who but one pretty prominent panthers fan on twitter was lambasting for the panthers for not trading up for him like ATL did

    • Of course it's a crapshoot to find a truly elite QB. But we don't even need that to be competitive or successful. Our two best long term starters in 3 decades of existence were both flawed yet productive passers and each led us to a Super Bowl. Hell Jake Delhomme in the year where his arm went off a cliff and we had to start Matt Moore for a couple spells we had a superior passing offense than anything we've seen under Bryce Young the last 3 years. We're still trying to crack the top 25. All I'm saying is this is not the 2023 Panthers by any means. The cupboards are not bare. We are not working with scraps. We have invested through the nose to build up the roster and the trenches on both sides of the ball. We've also added multiple first and second day pass catchers in the draft. If a QB can't succeed here they are cooked.
    • That last line is the key. Passing game lives or dies off the running game. I struggle to see any help the passing has provided in return - there is no pass to op n up the run to speak of.  Add in that we have downgraded the run blocking at left tackle according to analysts, and I really don’t know what to expect from C….  It puts more load on th passing game to help out
