For a little clarity on this:
If Goedert's contract were to outright void, the Eagles would be saddled with a $20.5M dead cap charge in 2026. If an extension is signed before Friday's deadline, that $20.5M of void cap will be allowed to remain spread out as per the previous deal. This is what a new 1 year, $10M contract for Goedert would look like on the books ($10M of cap savings).
