His knee might be trashed. They're talking about him maybe needing another surgery.

Apparently a bunch of teams failed him and believe he needs a second surgery before he can play football again which means by the time he plays again he would have been out of football for 2+ years.

      Jackson is better on the outside. If we decided to press than I would put Lee and Horn on the outside and Thornton is the slot.  Evero seems to like zone coverage though (that may change with Lee's ability) so Jackson would be better suited on the outside.

      Okay look… not to denigrate Al Wallace. He contributed and for a couple of years played a fairly important role.  But some perspective….   He was undrafted and caught on with a team or teams for a couple of years maybe. When the Panthers sighed him he had spent a year out of the league. As an Assistent principal.   Plus I don’t think Wallace was ever a regular starter. He just isn’t a high bar  No disrespect it is what it is.     A poor man’s Wallace might be teaching school.  Or maybe on a practice squad.
