I think any veterans we sign going forward will be after Week 1 when their salaries are not guaranteed.  Otherwise, only players I think added will be cuts from other teams

Per KFFL, Mikell says he's getting calls from several teams that are 'showing interest'.

Assuming that's true, do you think the Panthers are one of them (or should be)?

well lets see, we have a big hole at SS and Mikell is a very solid player. In other words, nope we arent looking at him.

Mitchell hasn't been terrible, they might be content to roll with him. I think there's more pressing needs on the oline

 

There are more pressing needs on the O-line, but the two aren't mutually exclusive.  If we want to win now, then they need to not only get a solid RG, but a safety that is good in run and pass protection (not to mention one that doesn't have a dodo head).

I would prefer we use that money to land a couple o-line players, but I wouldn't cry into my kroger brand spring water if we sign Mikell.

OL is more pressing but we'd be in a lot better position as a team if we did sign him. I'd take him.
