I almost wanted to vote Underwood as he's the guy that's probably hurt this team the least on that list.  Not collecting a paycheck from us.  But I went with Webb.  Cuz he looked nice in preseason.

uh yeah stud highly sought after free agents don't sign for anywhere near what any of these guys got

 

avant, cotchery and decoud have been reasonably decent for the next to nothing contracts we could afford to give them. i wouldn't mind keeping them moving forward

 

cason and harper have both been terrible and should be cut this offseason. the rest of the guys are bottom of the roster types who were never really expected to contribute much anyway

 

Yeah, could be a lot worse.  Some teams paid huge money for tackles that are just stinking it up.

 

I agreed with franchising Hardy at the time.  No way to foresee what happened.  But it put some big restrictions on us and we still need to save money against next year's cap.

What do you mean? Are you implying that this isn't a great list of free agent studs? We have our Messiah Dave Gettleman just unleashing Gettlemagic out there 24/7 bringing us Pro Bowler after Pro Bowler, you would dare say these guys aren't good?

Any decent GM should be able to find a handful of Pro Bowlers that want to play for league minimum on short term deals.
