What Packers Fans Are Saying

Who are the Packers?

Seriously, They are likely the best team we will face all season, but there is something about this season.......I was a Skins fan until 95 and all of the SB runs the Skins made I had the same feeling about them as I do about this team. You know they are going to show up and confident they can win. Will the Pack beat these Panthers? Possibly, but I'm not worried.

It's funny how we've been hearing the same " they're garbage, they're overrated, they have no playmakers "all season... yet somehow this overrated garbage team has managed to stay undefeated.

While im not calling for a Carolina blowout win, I believe we have the defense to contain Rodgers and keep it close into the 4th, and that's where the wildcard in Newton comes into play.

The Panthers have two of the best linebackers in the league in Thomas Davis and Luke Kuechly. Their secondary is OK but you can pick on safety, Harper in the passing game. I would not say pass rushing is this teams strength, although Kawan Short is getting penetration up the middle and must be handled. If our receivers can't get separation from Charles Tillman who is 100 years old, we've got serious issues.

None of their receivers should scare you, but Ted Ginn can get deep in a hurry. I would not call him a good receiver though. The go to guy is Greg Olson the TE, and we all know we've struggled with TE's so he's got to be contained. Control Newton in the read option and slow down the run game and we should win this game IMO. Caveat, I thought we'd whip Denver too.

This guy is about as knowledgeable a fan from another team as i have ever seen...We are in deep poo if Kalil cant go, I though silatolu a decent job. the running game got alot better after chris scott got benched

I apologize for the comments dissing your team. Your defense can certainly shut us down. If we're not up for this game were going to get killed.

Don't worry about it. We just print them off each week and send them to the our Panthers insider and he puts the comments on the bulletin board in the locker room.

    • Per Bill Barnwell  Broncos part ways with a CB on the roster bubble Broncos get: 2026 seventh-round pick Panthers get: CB Damarri Mathis The Broncos have a rare problem among NFL teams: too many cornerbacks. ESPN's Jeff Legwold projects they could move on from Mathis, who was very good as a rookie in 2022 before losing his starting job after the defense's slow start in 2023. He played just 27 defensive snaps after Week 6 that season and 80 more across 10 games in 2024. With the Broncos using their 2025 first-round pick on cornerback Jahdae Barron, they could justify moving on from Mathis, who might not be active on game days even if he sticks around. Mathis' best season came with defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero in Denver, and he hasn't been able to reach those same heights since Evero left for Carolina. The Panthers are set with Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson and nickel corner Chau Smith-Wade as their three starting corners, but Mathis could push the 28-year-old Jackson and serve as Carolina's primary reserve on the outside. Mathis is owed $3.4 million in 2025, so Denver might essentially buy a draft pick by eating some of that cash, similar to what the Commanders did when they sent running back Brian Robinson Jr. to the 49ers.
    • They can get fuged for a 6th and 7th. Doesn't make sense for us for anything less than a 4th and them paying a majority of his salary.
