Bills GM bemoaning the fact that Luck likely 'spoiled' their Cam plans

Remember when many in the Huddle felt screwed when Luck decided to stay in school? Turns out they weren't the only ones feeling that their team missed the boat. Cam would have likely been a Buffalo Bill, as Luck would have been the presumptive first round pick, and Denver would have picked Von Miller (like they probably would have---I don't care what Elway says).  But playing Elway's game, If Denver would have picked Newton, then maybe they aren't Super Bowl 50 champions if they had skipped on Von Miller. Who knows? The only thing that we can say for sure is that Buffalo really got screwed.

According to Bills general manager Doug Whaley -- then the assistant GM -- Andrew Luck's decision to remain at Stanford for another season cost the Bills their chance to draft Newton.

Luck deciding to stay in school turned out to be a HUGE blessing in disguise for us.

I remember most of the Huddle being pretty pissed Luck stayed in school. I think we ended up alright.

Yeah, if I was the GM of a team that didn't have a QB I'd also claim that I was planning on drafting the reigning NFL MVP in that year's draft.

They really seem to dislike the potential of Tyrod.  I don't get it; he must not fit the mold of what they're looking for. 

Rumor is plenty teams are eyeing QBs this draft outside of just Philly and STL...I mean LA. 

There are rumors about the Saints, 49ers, Browns per the usual, Broncos, Jets, Buffalo, & Arizona.  A lot of opportunities to have Hackenburg and Lynch go earlier than expected.  *fingers crossed.

I was crushed when Luck decided to go back to school. Then I thought Cam looked really great, but I came on here and fans HATED him. They wanted to draft ANYONE else, or bring in Carson Palmer ect, Huddle Panther fans thought Cam was going to be another bust like fat ass Russel. Then we got close to the draft and fans started to come around. Those were wild times. Then Auburn fans took over the forum for about a year to support Cam and blame the Panthers for anything that went wrong. Things have settled now thank goodness. Cam is a fuging beast. If we had an average QB we'd be below .500.
