Skip (the master troll) Bayless is leaving ESPN in August

I realized after reading through this thread that I actually watch nothing on ESPN unless there's a game of some sort on.

None of their topical shows, talk shows, yell-scream-bitch-complain shows, draft shows, talking head shows.... none of 'em. And I feel so much better for it.

And now I have time to go back and again read some of the classics I haven't read in 40 years or so. "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Hemingway is my current read.

Agreed. PTI and sometimes Around the Horn and Highly Questionable are the only decent shows. NFL Live is a bunch of has-beens bitterly criticizing players who were better than they ever were. I admit though I was glued to First Take the day after we smacked the Cowbitches on Thanksgiving just so I could watch the shitshow Skip was gonna put on

I like Skip. I record First take daily and it's the first thing I watch when I get home. To me he believes everything he says even though his opinion seems to garner a lot of hate

Skip doesn't even believe the things he says. It's all an act. First Take is scripted.
