If it makes us feel any better, the Broncos are imploding

Speaking of imploding, today on the Denver Broncos message board:

- Kubiak needs to go!

- 2 Season 4 QB's... no game plan

- Tired of Jordan Norwood

- This team doesn't care

- We have wasted a good D for years to come

- Fire Dennison... tonight!

- Denver has 3 of the worst offensive linemen in the NFL

Even their meltdown is weak sauce.

Damn Gano and we'd be going to tie them at 7-7 tonight. We've got a talented team, just a lot of injuries and an offense that hasn't adjusted at all since the SB.

The Panthers led the league in scoring during the 2015 regular at 31.2 points per game.

Graham Gano's 2015 regular season FG%: 83

The Panthers are 14th in the league in scoring this season at 23.9 points per game.

Graham Gano's 2016 FG%: 85

But, yeah, blame the kicker for the O-line, injuries and an offensive game plan that moves at the speed of a glacier.

They've also had much better luck with injuries. Just look at their offensive line. Only one guy who hasn't played all the time and that is Stephenson who was benched and now back starting. If their OL was in as bad a shape as ours, they'd be 5-8 too. Damn Gano and we'd be going to tie them at 7-7 tonight. We've got a talented team, just a lot of injuries and an offense that hasn't adjusted at all since the SB.

All teams have injuries, Ware, Talib, Anderson and Seimian all missed multiple games. They also play in the best division in the NFL.

Would I have much rather had the Panthers go all in for a SB victory followed by a 2014/2016 type of season?

Absolutely.

The Broncos have the Lombardi and failed at an attempt for a dynasty.

The Panthers had potential and are not looked at like a fluke around the league.

Give me what Elway did to go all in for 2 SBs and 3 playoffs in 3 years and a SB championship. This is the Broncos first down year since 2011. Maybe Gettleman can learn a few lessons from Elway on how to secure a SB Championship.

You would almost think that was coming from the Huddle

    • Was at the game and NYCFC honestly outplayed CLT the whole way.  Khalina and Zaha carried the team.  Zaha's wife on IG making it sound like he's gone come July. They're going to have to pay him or find a big time replacement because the team looks like pretty lost without him.
    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
