Mario Addison signs 3 year deal

Sensible signing. We still need to add a young rusher or two but this is a move that we needed to make.

@Growl are you aware Mario had a late start to his NFL carrer?  I believe he started at age 24/25. Plus he's played STs early, the overall number of snaps is low. He's not a typical nfl 29 years old. No major injuries too.

Plus did you also disagree when he resigned for the last 2 years for 2 million? Basically the the last three years he's play for 1 million per and had 20+ sacks. That's also with missing a few games due to injuries.

Like Thomas and i know Lance Z is a big fan.. But watching Youtube on him and Barnett .. O think Barnett is a elite pass rusher and Thomas is like CJ .. A versatile pass rusher who can rush from outside and in.. While Barnett is like Von Miller and Demarcus Ware elite outside rushers who can lead the league in sacks..

No one expected Oher to be injured, and he played solid for us.

Coleman was coming off a 7 interception season in 2015, and no one expected the massive regression that would occur as the Panthers realized Kurt's a FS, not a SS, and Tre Boston being Tre. He deserved the contract, and he started doing well towards the end of 2016 anyhow.

Well Addison was undrafted and floated around the league while Ealy was a 2nd rounder. I wouldn't call Ealy a bust yet but he clearly hasn't reached his potential or lived up to expectations, while Addison has far surpassed his.

Coleman played well. He was surrounded by a poo safety and rookies. It's a team sport. Especially in the secondary.

I'm glad Mario came back but I really hope the plan isn't to make him an every down player. He deserves plenty of snaps but he is way more effective as a passrusher and I hate to see him get worn out stopping the run.

Once we tag KK, that's nearly half our available cap gone on 2 players. We are not signing anyone big this year folks..
