Imo Hunt, Perine, or Foreman will be the RB we draft..

Impressive balance. Appears very hard to knock down. One of these guys you have to wrap up rather than just shoving.

Wonder if we'd use him like we did Tolbert.

Low center of gravity.. and that powerful trunk makes him hard to tackle.. Add in his bend and shorter frame he isn't giving dudes much to hit until it's to late.. He can hide behind bigger oline until he explodes on you..

I've change my mind he reminds me alot of Emmitt Smith.. with more power of course..

We're not drafting Mixon but if we're going on pure RB value alone : Fournette > Mixon > McCaffrey > Cook > Perine > Kamara is my ranking of the top RBs

Agreed with TEs

Wrs : Davis > Ross > Williams > Kupp > Westbrook

DEs : Garrett >>>>>>>>>Every other DE. I don't want a DT or DE with pick 8 honestly. That being said everyone on this board should be prepared to see either Allen, Thomas, Barnett , , or even Ruben Foster (LB) drafted with the way Gettleman thinks about first rounders. Offense is the last thing on his mind in first round besides the year Steve Smith left

I'll say this reality is Mixon will never be a Panther..

But dam he fits us better than any RB in this draft..

Even over Fournette.. based on his speed and him adding to the passing game with his great hands and route running ..

But again he will never be a Panther..

Know anything about his blocking?

Blocking is a big deal to the Panthers.

Seeing that his pass blocking needs work.  I think that's a fairly common critique of most RBs that come into the league.

Jamal Williams

Like his base like his power does have wiggle to his game.

Runs alot from the I formation and single back with QB under the center.. Like to see more of his running from a dead stop instead of a head start.. Is a down hill runner..

Starting to see some negatives.

Runs to upright takes alot of hard shots because of it..

Not a homerun threat gets caught from behind.. looking at his 40' he's not faster than Hunt and only a little faster than Perine.. NFL .com got him at 4.59 in the 40..

Not much in the passing game..

I'm seeing the same stuff again.. Not much versatility to his game .. reminds me of Cedric Benson..

Needs to work on blitz pick up..but all college RB do..

I disagree he is not better than Hunt and pretty close to Perine.. But Hunt is better more versatile..

Even if you don't change your mind, here are some links. I disagree, and these guys likely disagree as well. Williams' blocking is better than Hunts', and he likely faced tougher competition.
