Practice Update - Christian McCaffrey and Alex Armah

A quick update on the rookie backs.

Christian McCaffrey spent more time as a wide out today as Jonathan Stewart was in the back field. It is looking more likely that CMC will be on the field for the vast majority of snaps in one shape or another.

McCaffrey also was the first up in punt returns and had zero drops. I did not see Damiere Byrd practice punt returns at all.

Despite his solid performance against the Titans, Alex Armah remained behind Darrel Young. Armah did catch a nice ball from Joe Webb but was otherwise quiet throughout practice.

However, Armah was last on the practice field today, getting in extra reps on the sleds. Thats right, on a very hot day when the rest of the team hurried indoors to cool off, Alex spent time by himself working on his run blocking.

I think putting Armah on psquad is too risky but the way coach runs things young will have to shoot hisself in the foot to lose his spot to a raw player like Armah I just hope Armah beats young out fair and square..

& RunCMC is that's sleeper pick in Fantasy Football can't wait..

I really like Alex and think he will be an asset for the team more sooner than later. If he can make a few special teams plays it will make Rivera's decision much easier in two weeks.

Ron needs all the help he can get with this decision.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
