who else hated the poo out of fox's camera coverage

every once in a while networks like to get cute and use those overhead cameras to cover live plays. usually they're relegated to special teams plays, which is fine.

on sunday they kept overhead, POV coverage on numerous offensive snaps. absolutely fuging idiotic gimmick that prevents the viewer from watching the full play on the field. much like self-indulgent cinematographers need to go to hell for unduly influencing a film with distracting shot setups, fox needs to keep the side cameras on during snaps and use the overheads for replays only.

I could be mistaken but during the game they mentioned they were having some technical difficulties with some of the cameras. If you noticed during the second quarter the camera was on the fritz from the traditional angle.

Agree 100%. It's fine to do it maybe once or twice a game in certain situations but they did it on like 5 plays straight for us and others as well. Was way overboard and over the top, like they're filming for Any Given Sunday rather than airing a live football game. Show us a regular view so we can see the damn plays

I was complaining about these to my wife (who gave exactly zero shits) during the game Sunday.  After the first or second time I ever saw them it was just an annoyance.  Even if what I wanted to see was in the frame changing the perspective on the fly made it annoying to digest what I saw without having to back it up and watch it again.

I don't like change damnit

    • I forgot about Burrow, he is elite when healthy.
    • Solid in free agency, and lets not forget the draft--Most teams expect to get 2 starters/key contributors out of the draft.  3 is a banner year, but more common for bad teams.   Look at this draft: TMac.  Yes please.  Sorely needed since XL is becoming the road kill he often eats. DAY 2 Scourton.  Pay attention.  he is a stud and playing like one.  A second-round edge?  Rare. Princely.  He has flashed a bit, but he is developmental. Bothered by an ankle.   I expect him to step up, if he is going to, by year 3.  That is the year, if you think about it. we saw the emergence of Greg Hardy and Charles Johnson.  I have not seen him on the field much lately (injured?) but I noticed he was a liability vs. the run in the few plays I paid attention.  Too early to tell. DAY 3 Etienne.  As a returner and third RB, a key contributor for a fourth rounder. Ransom.  He has been contributing, and I have little doubt he will push Scott to pasture. Mitchell.  Perhaps Morgan's best pick.  A good blocking, pass catching TE with swag.  In round 5.  I think he is our best TE already. Horn.  They are finding ways to use him.  Yes, he reminds me of Steve Smith a bit during his first half season of his rookie year.  They did not really know what they had at that time.   Cam Jackson: A fifth rounder has not played much, but he was and is developmental.
    • What job did he get done?   He was an albatross around the teams neck and they won despite him
