We won, but I still do not like Rivera and more epiphanies

If they did not sub and we did, Rogers is famous for the quick snap.  Why Riverboat not call a timeout?  I realize that he did not want to stop the clock, but he could see Rogers rushing to the line.  Someone needs to tell him that game management is more than holding up one finger or two after a TD...

...Speaking of TD, what were you thinking?  Sure, getting Adams out of the game might have helped us win, but that was just blatant...

Blatantly awesome is how I characterize the play of our Right Tackle.  So much better than our Wrong Tackle...

...Our CBs are playing very well.  So happy that Worleybird and Blueberry (see what I did there?) are playing like veterans....

...veterans like C. Jones. What a game.

...When Cam sets his feet, there is no better....

...Is Byrd emerging with Fun Fun Funch as our top WRs?  Sure looks better than 19.  This draft is loaded at WR, so we are going to get better.  FWIW, I approved the Benjamin trade and was treated rather rudely by some of you.  I am over it now, but it hurt...

...Anybody noticing how Palardy is starting to suck?  Pay attention, he has been very inconsistent.

With new ownership, I feel sure that our Rivera water-torture will soon come to an end.

Rivera's coached us to the 6th or 7th (I forget which) best record in the league since he and Cam have been here. People need to stop ripping him to shreds here. He's a way better coach than most others.

On top of that they went to the SB 2 years ago with him and lost to an elite defense. There's no team in the AFC or any other NFC team right now that has the 2015 Broncos defense, slowing down the Saints offense is a bigger concern for the Panthers this year.

russell shepard has been my biggest whiff in predicting impact guys and i'll own it up.

hands make ginn's look elite. very good on special teams and locker room chemistry, but that's about it sadly.

You admitted bruh no problem. Saves me from bringing up that thread I bookmarked when we had that debate. Give ya  pie for that. Now go predict some other poo and do a write up for someone that is gonna work out !

(this isn't sarcasm)

    • The Falcons have 2 significant offensive line injuries to start the 2025 season. Right tackle Kaleb Mcgary (who is the blindside protector for Penix since he is left-handed) is going to miss significant time, and it's looking more like it may be all season. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/falcons-expect-kaleb-mcgary-to-miss-significant-time https://x.com/BKsquared7/status/1959285822236107013. Also, the top backup and swing tackle, Storm Norton (cool name BTW) is having ankle surgery and may miss half the season. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/falcons-ot-storm-norton-out-6-8-weeks-after-ankle-surgery I don't root for injuries, but its also hard to be too sympathetic given how badly injuries have hit us in recent years. We definitely need to get that W in week 3 for our home opener at BOA. Despite our collective frustration at not being able to attend TC and then having boring preseason games, ultimately the most important objective of the preseason is to enter Week1 healthy, and we have at least done that. Hopefully the depth we think we have at Oline either shines through or isn't needed. Many other teams are in a bad spot with their offensive lines before the season even starts. For once, we aren't in that situation.
    • That roster was billed as a super smart and strong unit for a young QB….until he sucked though.   it didn’t have superstars but it had proven vets that checked well all the safe boxes and it was universally agreed the Panthers were putting him into position to succeed. BY just doesn’t fit a traditional O because he isn’t built like a traditional QB.  And he still doesn’t.   CJ Stroud would have had more success here than Bryce with that cast.   CJ just has the tools that fit the NFL more easily.  Young can find success but I have always argued it would take a Bryce centric plan (which we have never attempted IMO)
    • looks like the Lions and Bangles should forget about the playoffs, trade everyone they can, and start over.
