Just For Fun - If Gettleman Was the GM Who Would've Been the 24th Pick...?

I'd be inclined to think he'd have worked out a deal for Olsen after the season ended, but Ryan Kalil, and Davis would've been released, and with their freed up space he would've FT'ed Andrew Norwell, and I think we may have still gotten D.J. Moore. .

No Torrey Smith trade, but I think with Norv here there's a chance we would've still gotten Jarius Wright due to his knowledge of the offense Norv is bringing. So that means Worley would still be here, as well as Coleman potentially.

    • Boy that’s the truth. And just go8ng to Rico last year his PFF scores were low IMO for the production.  Then I rewatched and some all 22 and there were huge holes for him to run through. When the holes weren’t there guess who didn’t run all that far?
    • I like the reclamation project approach. Not sure the failure rate is any worse than a 1st round rookie.  Actually I like the throw the kitchen sink at it Reclamation, drafting, take every shot you have. Short of that ridiculousness of mortgaging your future for a serious long shot like Bryce.    Also, man up. Pro up. If you are a QB in that situation, a lame duck on your way out, the best thing you can do is be 100% the same as you were when things were the man. People will be watching.
    • That’s what I was afraid of. I know more than I should about that. Getting off that stuff is horrible, I hope he can come out of it okay.
