I may have missed it, but have seen nothing about his injury.  I know when that play stopped..immediately several giants players waved at the Panthers sideline to get some help.  That is not good when the opposition is trying to get help there fast.

So...what happened?

He sucks, we hat him right?

Who knows? According to many of the posters here, you are supposed to hate between 40-44 members of the active roster, two practice squad members, 75% of the coaching staff, both trainers, Sir Purr, five of the cheerleaders and any retired Panther who isn't Sam Mills.

You leave Sir Purr out of this

It’s a business and if the Panthers are ever going to win anything they best figure that out

The Panthers are getting old quick.

I’m not a fan of giving players farewell tours and the Panthers are getting very old, very quickly and the season  is only a qtr old

those old legs and banged up bodies still able to produce in December ?

kalil has been breaking down for 3 years now

why is anyone surprised

Our DL in particular is ancient by NFL standards. Peppers pushing 40, Mario is over 30, Horton is knocking on the door of 30. So are Short and Poe. Kyoe Love is also over 30.

Basically, our entire starting DL and our top two reserves are all at an age where they are or will soon be on the decline. Based on our DL performance so far this year, it may be safe to assume they're already on the downslope.

    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
