Do we only factor in the downs people played in Carolina when doing these rankings? Or are we just saying he was the best that happened to wear a Panther uniform at one time...and then ranking off of who they were in the NFL.

Gets tricky.  Especially with the LBs.  Because we have a lot of top tier LBs they played and really made their name elsewhere. 

I only say that because Reggie White played here.  He out ranks Pep but that was for career built away from here.

Gross is the best offensive lineman we’ve ever had. Kalil did a great job with a rotating cast, but having Gross at LT saved us the need to worry about that position for a long time.

I'd go with Gross. Kalil has been up and down the last few years.

I think Kalil was a better C than Gross was an LT, but positional value being what it is I'll still say Gross was the more valuable, if not "better" of the two.

Every position is important. But there is a reason LT is the second highest paid position in the league. Can’t convince me C is just as important.

Would you say Von Miller is thaaaaaaat much more important than Luke?

Because if your going by price tag.  He is as important as Luke and TD combined.

Of course not and price tag isn’t the only argument. But compare the average LT salary around the league to the average C.

Like I said, there is a reason for this. LT is indeed more important than C. That isn’t to devalue what a C does.
