(UPDATE) Peter King lists the Panthers as one of four possible trade destinations for Steelers WR Antonio Brown

Makes no sense with the holes on this team.

REALLY makes no sense with the info coming out about AB's diva tendencies and how problematic that could be around our young weapons.

REALLY REALLY makes no sense until we know how Cam's shoulder is.  Trading for AB, only for Cam's shoulder to still be hamstrung? Yeah let's get a Ferrari and only be allowed to drive it in a 35 MPH zone.

I'd like to build the o-line first. We are plenty good with Moore, Samuel, and Wright.

We said the same thing about our receivers this year after drafting Moore and people still bitched about how they’re all trash. Moore and Samuel stepped up as the year went on.

The way the league is trending you can never have too much firepower.

My biggest concern with Brown would be bringing his diva influence around Moore and Samuel. I would feel differently if I thought he was the one missing piece between us and a SB run. I don't.

That stuff is so overblown. By the time someone is 21, they are basically the person they are going to be. If they have good values it's going to show. If they don't, that's already revealed itself. These are young men, not kids. Character flaws (if they really are flaws) don't really rub off when you're adults. Maybe bad habits, but only for weaker minded individuals. Steve Smith's anger issues and lack of maturity were his and his alone.

The Panthers do a good job of drafting  good people, and good teammates. There is a culture of solidarity and an institutional hierarchy of leadership and respect, so people fall in line.

And, lastly, at the end of the day, Rivera doesn't play that "poo," he'll get you straight.

    • You do, the guy who doesn’t appear to grasp projection.  as the entire board knows, I do in fact, take positions.  The position here I have taken is that Bryce Young is a weak bottom tier starting QB, without NFL starting QB tools, that we must move on from.
    • The OP for one. Asserting that people blamed Bryce for the loss in the title of the thread. That was not the prevailing sentiment at the time this thread was created. Very much a minority thing, I don’t remember but maybe one person if that, putting it on Bryce as the main reason. Troll thread. Did a good job too. Look at the pages.  Someone counting up the draft picks as 10 on offense and 10 on defense or whatever the number was, today or yesterday - of which the offensive ones were heavily 1s and 2s and the defensive picks were heavily day 3 and declaring that proof that the offense wasn’t favored like people claim. The obvious neglect we watched for two years. I spent time refuting that bullshit because someone needed to.  People saying we are bad horrible people and hate poor lil Bryce for no reason, as if it is a personal thing. Constantly.   Along the same lines is people saying we non Bryce fans would rather lose than have him play well and the team wins. That we are mad when the team wins   Point illustrated.
