Breakout Panther of 2019

Who do you think the breakout player of 2019 will be? Breakout defined as a non rookie that rises to the level of getting ample national attention for the first time. I'd argue it was CMC in 2018. 

 

2019? I'm thinking Donte Jackson. Kid will be a force for years.

based on his potential, his rookie season was just a minor scratch of the surface.

i'd like to say donte jackson, but one of the curses of being a good corner is the lack of attention...unless they let him trash talk his way into the spotlight.

I’m thinking Moore if we have a quarterback that can get him the ball.  Hope Cam comes back strong, if not I think Igo will be right.  But we could always get lucky and it will be someone we draft.

I'm going to say Samuel. I still think that he's an extraordinary talent and outstanding route runner.

I predict that Rivera will have to get Samuel into the regular flow of the game to preserve his coaching credibility.

Jackson is the type of kid that everyone is going to know he's there when he's making plays. Silence is not his forte. He's dripping with swag, and silence and swag don't necessarily mix.

tossup between moore and samuel. gotta imagine norv will be designing tons of route combos that will free up those guys for YAC and help cam's shoulder by minimizing quantity of throws.

IF......IF we go to a 3-4- Marquise Haynes.  Dude is a glue fit.  Watching his quickness in college and watching it in camp.  If he is a outside Edge linebacker rusher, watch out

Right now we just need the kid to play at a sustained slightly elevated level. If he can hold his own playing next to 59 that would be a big help to this defense.
