Player reactions to the PI replay change

From what I've heard, this change isn't popular with players.  I haven't seen that many reactions yet, though. Feel free to post any you've seen.

I think it was a bad knee-jerk reaction that will make things even more controversial now.

So, Hail Mary at the end of the game. How many Hail Mary's are there that do NOT include PI?

I think Sherman/Weddle have a bit of a point. It's kind of a wild card a coach could play at a pivotal moment to potentially great advantage.

I agree with them.

It’s going to be tough to not call a PI in those end of game Hail Mary situations. If I’m a coach,  I try like hell to make sure I have a challenge at the end of the game for that situation. Can you review/challenge every PI?

Under two minutes comes from the booth.

 

How long before, someone complains that the QB wouldn't have gotten the pass off if my DE wasn't held.  Lets review that also.

Sherman is right though. So many plays shown in slow motion can be read either way, especially when the DB and receiver are hand fighting. Just something else to slow down the game.

Even better...eliminated them from playoff contention.
