Don't believe that this is a weak WR class!

I don't understand how anyone can look at what we have at receiver, and believe we're set. Especially with most fans wanting Smith gone, which would without a doubt, make our receiving core worse.

I think we're set other than potentially adding a mid-late round developmental WR who can hopefully also help out on returns.

I disagree on Smith. With Ron's affinity for playing vets over better, younger players I think he would be addition by subtraction by simply getting him out of the way of the other guys.

So they going to name those guys and not KB? Actually, that class sucked. Outside of Beckham and Evans (and Beckham has had injury problems), those other guys haven't done squat. Watkins is a journeyman at this point with injury problems, Adams flopped and Cooks was a flash in the pan.

Larry Fitzgerald, Steve Smith, Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, Odell, Randy Moss, DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Evans, Michael Thomas, Calvin Johnson and even Antonio Brown... All different WR in recent memory who have had #1 seasons or are a top 3 WR recently and haven't won a ring. There is no promise that having a #1 WR would have been the difference the year we went to the SB. Hell, the team we played, their WR1 D.Thomas was held to 1 catch for 8 yards on 6 Targets. Julio Jones is a #1 WR and in his SB game he was only targeted 4 times. Our best year in franchise history? No true #1. The Eagles magical run to the SB? No true #1. Ertz was their top pass catcher and he didn't even break 1k. Their WRs didn't make it to 800 yards so they weren't even averaging 50 yards per game. In todays NFL its better to have a good group of WRs where the defense can't key in on one guy than it is to have a true #1 WR.

Your chance of winning a Super Bowl with  a JAG receiving corps is slim and none. You need as many legitimate threats as possible (and not only threats in theory).

A true WR1 is a matter of definition, but some of us know true playmakers when we see them. A rich stat sheet just makes them that much easier to distinguish.

Oh I would totally take Parris Campbell if he was at 47. Him and Moore on the field would be monsters.

Moore Campbell Curtis Wright Hogan? Good lord.

2nd choice Terry McLaurin

Moore Curtis  McLaurin Wright Hogan?

3rd Choice Dillon Mitchell

Moore Curtis Wright Hogan Mitchell?

Torrey goes bye bye

No effin way to a receiver in the 2nd round. You guys realize we don't have a starting caliber free safety on our team right now? That's my top priority pick for our 2nd unless literally every player with a 1st or 2nd round grade gets picked by then which seems unlikely. I'm not taking competition for wr 3 over that. Sorry. I'd be ok with WR with our comp 3rd or later

Yet it happens frequently. You have to go back a matter of months to see it.

The Pats are a different animal, and everyone knows it. And, let's be honest, now that Gronk has retired, they're going to strive to upgrade their receiver game (not that they weren't already).

I think we need another receiver. I love what I've seen from Moore and Samuel. I also think Wright and Hogan are nice pieces as well. But let's be honest Samuel has been injured a decent amount since coming into the league and Moore searches for contact.

What exactly happens to our receiving group if one of those guys go down?

We're screwed!
