not a popular opinion, but barring some of the top de being at 16, i would like to trade back and draft adderly, and address de in 2nd, or like i said before if he's not drafted by day 2, trade to move up and grab him

If he is your guy you take him at 16. I want the guy with our second but he probably won't be there.

Best scenario if we had to get him... we would trade back to say 23-27 and pick up another 2nd rounder. I just went to firstpick as a reference to see how that would play out and traded back with the Colts. Using Hurney logic ... Came away with this.

Your Picks:

Round 1 Pick 26 (IND): Kaleb McGary, OT/OG, Washington (A-)

Round 2 Pick 2 (IND): Nasir Adderley, CB/FS, Delaware (B)

Round 2 Pick 27 (IND): Chase Winovich, DE, Michigan (A)

Round 3 Pick 13: Miles Sanders, RB, Penn St. (A-)

Round 3 Pick 25 (IND): Christian Miller, OLB, Alabama (A-)

Round 3 Pick 36 (COMP): Will Grier, QB, West Virginia (A)

Round 4 Pick 13: Renell Wren, DT, Arizona St. (A+)

Round 5 Pick 16: Jordan Brailford, DE, Oklahoma St. (A)

Round 6 Pick 14: Kendall Sheffield, CB, Ohio St. (A+)

Best case scenario is that nobody we liked at 16 is still there, there is a log jam at the top, and someone who wants a QB comes up with us to get one, and we don't make the price too high, move back, collect another pick or 2, and draft whoever you want.

Right us picking just in front of the giants could help us with that. If they pass on QB at 6 other QBS needy teams we’ll see us as the spot to grab their guy before the giants can.

Need to do more research on NA to see if I like him more than Thornhill. Thornhill is more of a Eddie Jackson FS tweener that can play SS too imo. He’s bigger and I’m assuming stronger with 21 reps. Agree with that guy that Adderley isn’t a scared to come up and hit but more of a pure FS to me

im happy with either at 47

    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
