anyone who complains about this needs to remember the Panthers rolled out Brenton Bersin and Kaelin Clay as starting WRs in a playoff game.

Well we do have a little less than $10 mil in cap space, so it isn't like Smith's salary is really keeping us from making any significant moves. That is MORE than enough to sign all our draft picks(some of which have been signed) and even making a signing at safety(lolololololol). It's the last year on his deal and 0% is guaranteed. I understand the bitching about bang for the buck but keeping him on the roster(and it is a big assumption he will make it) isn't going to be some dreadful event.
