Interesting take on the Panthers WRs

Game play is different then camp practice. Moore is absolutely deadly with the ball in his hands. It’s awesome to hear Chris is playing so well but Moore is in a different stratosphere athletically. He, like Curtis can take it to the house at any given time. 

Moore definitely has things to work on. But norv can mask some of that with designs that give him the ball in space. 

I would be shocked if Chris outproduces Moore this season. I think of him more as a 3rd down, safety net type player. Moore is the homerun player. If/when Moore catches up to Curtis, hopefully by next year. Look out.

Nobody talking about Hogan, has had a really solid camp. Don’t know if I’d put him at 2 but he most certainly is our current 3.

Yeah it’s pretty weird that we’ve heard virtually nothing about Hogan in any tweets this entire camp if he’s really been killing it.

Thought someone in here said DJ Moore was having the best camp he’s ever seen out of a wide receiver ever...if I’m not mistaken.

It's a good problem to have

Moore has played a season in the NFL. A season.

Much of the season he was a gadget and lacked reps. 

He showed he could be productive when given the opportunity despite being green and having some deficiencies in his game as a rookie receiver.

If he is 2A and 2B with Hogan (which i believe was one the top receivers at creating seperation) then it sounds like Moore is about to take a 2nd year leap. Combine those extra yards of seperation before he gets the ball with his RAC ability.

Moore will be the #2. Hope we can have a WR tandem soon where Moore and Samuel look like 1A/1B.

Whata strange is how little we have heard of Wright who has been virtually mr reliable. I haven't seen many if any tweets about his camp. Samuel has always been my projected number 1. Seems to work harder at his craft at this point. You could see it with the purchase of the jugs machine, and all the work he put in in route running.

Seems reasonable to me but I don't think it will last much longer.  Hogan is very highly rated at getting separation according to analytics.  Moore still needs help in route running and his release but he's also only entering year 2.

Definitely would be a fan if the top 5 ended up that way though.

Look I love the Hogan signing. I think he will be productive for us, and we signed him for a pack of peanuts....but if anyone thinks he will out produce Moore in the real season I will forever have this reaction towards you:

I'm not buying that.  Camp is still camp.  Now I do think Samuel might be the best WR this year.  But Moore is a much bigger playmaker than Hogan IMO.   When games start I think that will be obvious.  That ain't a knock on Hogan as I like the pick up.

I appreciate the shoutout @ncfan! My ranking was based on production. Someone mentioned camp vs game production and that's a valid point. But so far, Ive simply observed that Hogan has outperformed Moore. They're kind of 2A and 2B. They'll be used differently. And Moore has a knack for YAC that I haven't seen from Hogan so the tables may yet turn.

Agree with this. DJ's deadliest trait is YAC. In TC there isn't much hitting and plays get blown dead so that obviously isn't showing up. DJ just has that home run ability to break a 7 yard slant for a long TD at anytime.
