A few random thoughts on the 2019 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Just don’t know after watching what we saw Sunday. Their rb looks legit, they did a decent job of stopping the run.

Knowing Arian’s penchant for going aerial and leaving the qb on an island our rushers should feast.. that being said Ron has a hard time taking advantage of other team’s weaknesses.

Unlike week one this is a division game... if you’re expecting a blowout you will probably be disappointed.

That is why I said the Bucs always give us fits when we play them no matter what state both our teams are in. Both teams have issues and the better team will win.

Yep, itll be a hard fought, close game, just like most of our other games against Tampa are.  its a division game, so they very well could kick our asses.  Im predicting a 24-17 Panthers win.

Just a note on their RB

SF LB's are terrible and on top of that, the top LB on their roster (signed from Tampa this offseason) got Ejected I believe the first series or 2.  So it helped helped that run game for the Bucs

And as someone else mentioned Mike Evans was among several Bucs players that picked up some stomache bug.

My things to watch.

1. Chris Godwin- I think Bradberry does a good job on Evans here.  Godwin is a stud (really wanted him coming out of the draft)  he's got good speed but plays bigger than his 6'1 209 size.  Im kind of concerned with his matchup with Jackson

2. OJ Howard- his size mismatch.  He gave us fits in the redzone in the last game of last year wirh 50+ yards and 2 TD

3. Their OL vs our front 7.  I feel confident that we'll shut down the run and they will be put into a bunch.of 3rd and longs.  Buc's OL is among the leagues worst.  I want to see how Rivera's new reamped schemed D does against this easy matchup.

4. Gerald McCoy emotions- he has this game marked on the calendar we all know.  But lets hope he's isnt too into it.  Kwon Alexander, SF MLB and former Bucs LB had this one marked as well only to get ejected the first series or 2 for a hit to the head on Winston as he was sliding

Godwin lines up in the slot a lot.  And then you have OJ Howard.

This is the game I had circled to see if Gualden at Big Nickel actually could play decent.  But he isn’t even practicing with a groin pull. SMH.

Kwan Alexander was ejected for going head first into Winston during a feet first slide.  A lot like the hit Cam took last years vs the Falcons.
